Extraordinary Filtration! With more than 90 cu. inches of surface area, the Lake Sealed Millennium Filter has one of the largest filter capacities of any comparable filter! Ordinary "tap" water enters the system and particulate matter is physically trapped within the micro-porous material of the first stage. During the second stage, the pre-cleansed water undergoes a catalytic oxidation process where chlorine and other organic substances are absorbed deep inside the pore structure of the carbon. And there they stay, leaving the water you drink cleaner and odor free! Finally, water enters the one micron post filtration stage (the human hair shaft is 40 microns) where even finer particles are retained. We have hand selected and blended some of the world's finest carbons, to assure you of unsurpassed chlorine reduction, while maintaining the unmistakable flavor that has made Lake Millennium the filter of choice to more than a million satisfied customers!
